David Smith, CA – Partner/Director – Taxation, Business Services and Audit
David joined the firm in 1985 and became a partner in 1990. In 2000 David transferred to the Hornsby office where he continues today. David is a Chartered Accountant, registered Tax Agent, and registered Company Auditor.
With David's background and experience he has acquired a range of expertise in taxation and business services. His portfolio of clients include many small businesses from a multitude of different industries, superannuation funds, professional firms, and high net worth individuals. He manages the audits of several entities, from registered clubs to non-profit community organisations to subsidiaries of multi-nationals.
Away from the office, David follows all manner of sports, particularly cricket, rugby and soccer where he has close involvements through his children's various sporting teams. David is also a keen snow skier, loves travelling, and attends Epping Presbyterian Church. But above all, he loves spending family time with his wife and two teenage children.
